1) Who we are
Gainzilla (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates an AI-powered strength-coaching platform that connects gym-goers with personalized training insights, smart-station video analysis, and an AI coach. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2) Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through our website, the Gainzilla app (including gym “Smart Station” interfaces), the AI coach, and any APIs or services that link to it.
3) Information We Collect
Account & Profile Info: name, email, username, display name, height, weight, date of birth, experience level, and fitness goals you provide when creating or completing your profile. It also includes your coach-address preference — how you would like the coach to address you in gendered languages such as Hebrew.
Profile Photo: if you upload a profile photo, it is stored in private storage — not on a public URL. It is displayed to you through a short-lived signed link, and is deleted when you reset your data or delete your account.
Training Data: workout plans, planned exercises, coach sessions, recorded sets (including metrics such as reps, tempo, range of motion, effort score, estimated 1RM, and bar-path data), and progress tracking data.
Smart Station Data: when you use a gym's Smart Station, the station's edge camera records short video segments of your lifts. These segments are processed on the edge server to extract movement metrics (bar path, velocity, tempo). Video segments are processed and deleted; only derived metrics and bar-path plot images / CSV files are stored. These artifacts (plot images, CSVs) are stored on AWS S3 and linked to your account if you are logged in, or stored anonymously if you are a guest.
AI Coach Interactions: prompts, responses, and metadata (e.g., timestamps, chosen exercise) from conversations with the AI coach. Coach chats start fresh each day and older transcripts are deleted; a rolling long-term memory summary is maintained instead, to personalize coaching across sessions. You can clear that memory at any time in Settings.
Gym Social Data: gym memberships, direct messages with other members, group session participation, and announcements.
Device/Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, interactions, diagnostics, crash logs, and cookies or similar technologies.
4) How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Service (generate training plans, analyze lifts, respond to coach prompts, track progress).
- Personalize coaching (maintain conversation memory, tailor recommendations to your goals and history).
- Improve quality and safety (including model and rules refinement), debug, and prevent abuse.
- Communicate with you (product updates, support, feedback responses).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
5) AI & Third-Party Processing
To run the AI coach and smart-station analysis, we may send your prompts and necessary context to third-party vendors, such as:
- LLM model providers (for AI coach inference),
- Cloud hosting & serverless infrastructure (e.g., Base44, AWS),
- Database and object storage (e.g., AWS S3 for bar-path plots and CSVs),
- Analytics/monitoring (if used).
We contractually limit vendors to processing for our purposes and require appropriate safeguards. Do not input sensitive personal information (e.g., health diagnoses, government IDs, financial numbers) into the AI coach.
6) Legal Bases (if applicable)
Where required (e.g., EU/UK/Israel), we rely on consent (for coach memory and improvement features) and legitimate interests (to operate and secure the Service). You can withdraw consent at any time by resetting your data or deleting your account.
7) Data Retention
Operational data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
Smart Station media: video segments are processed on the edge server and deleted; derived bar-path plots and CSVs are stored on S3 and retained until you delete the associated set or reset/delete your account.
AI coach conversations & memory: retained until you reset your training data or delete your account.
Group session data: if you participate in a group session, your display name and results are stored. Upon account deletion, your name is anonymized to “Deleted user” and your media links are removed.
We may retain limited records to meet legal, security, and audit requirements.
8) Your Choices & Rights
- Clear Coach Memory: In Settings, you can delete the coach's rolling memory about you on its own, without touching your plans, recorded sets or training history.
- Reset Training & Personalization: In Settings, you can reset all training data — plans, sessions, recorded sets (including S3 media), your profile photo, coach memory, and AI conversations — while keeping your account and login.
- Delete Account: In Settings, you can permanently delete your account. This erases all personal data, anonymizes your identity in group sessions, deletes S3 media, and deactivates your login.
- Access/Export: You can request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.
- If applicable in your region, you may also have rights to correct, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.
9) Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with:
- Service providers (processing under our instructions, e.g., AWS, LLM providers),
- Gym staff (for gym-specific data such as memberships and group sessions, restricted to the gym you belong to),
- Legal authorities where required,
- Successors in the event of a business transaction (subject to safeguards).
10) International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws (e.g., AWS S3 in EU regions, LLM providers in the US). We use appropriate safeguards where required.
11) Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including row-level security on all user data, HTTPS for all connections, and separation of infrastructure credentials from member-readable data. No system is 100% secure.
12) Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date.

5) עיבוד AI וצד שלישי

7) שמירת נתונים

- מחיקת חשבון: בהגדרות, תוכל למחוק לצמיתות את חשבונך. פעולה זו מוחקת את כל הנתונים האישיים, מאפסת את זהותך באימונים קבוצתיים, מוחקת מדיה ב-S3 ומשביתה את ההתחברות.
